A Valentine’s Day Retreat

February 7, 2014 by Jen 3 Comments

Have you ever gone all out and done something really special with your Valentine?

I am not a Valentine-y kinda person and we’re not a Valentine-y kinda couple. It all just seems a little contrived and a lot of pressure. So we usually do something for the kids, acknowledge that we love each other and move on.

But if I were to get into the over-the-top romance of Cupid’s big day, I wouldn’t bother with the box of chocolates or the romantic dinner. I would go all out with something like this little treasure that arrived in my inbox a few weeks ago:

Now THIS is romance!

Gansevoort Park Avenue Hotel: Now THIS is romance!

“GET LOVED” THIS VALENTINE’S DAY WITH GANSEVOORT HOTEL GROUP

New intimacy inspired retreat invites guests to toss aside the candy hearts and spice things up

NEW YORK, NY, JANUARY 2014: The Gansevoort Hotel Group know how to throw a great party – they also know that sometimes the best party is a party for two. This Valentine’s Day, New York hotels, Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC and Gansevoort Park Avenue NYC, invite adventurous couples to celebrate with a sultry new intimacy inspired retreat – Get Loved – a sexy Manhattan break designed with everything lovers need to surprise their other half and really spice things up.

Available at both hotels, the Get Loved temptations include:

  •   The sensual travelers mile high kit
  •   Copy of the Kama Sutra book
  •   A bottle of Champagne and strawberries
  •   One dozen red roses
  •   Continental breakfast in-room for two
  •   Early check-in at noon (subject to availability)
  •   Late check-out at 2PM (subject to availability)

Package available from February 3, 2014 to March 3, 2014.

Now THAT is romantic, isn’t it?! Have you ever gone all out and done something really special with your Valentine?
