I took a bit of a computer fast this weekend. It was much needed. I had stuff to get done. I have 2 blankets to knit for MY LITTLE SISTER and my friend who are having babies in March. MARCH. That’s a lot of freaking knitting! And, I have books to read, Oscar-nominated movies to see, places to be, people to see. Apparently, though…ahem…napping took top priority this weekend. And, I missed you. And, I missed our celeb gossip. So….

In the new issue of The Advocate, Ellen talks about her relationship with Portia:
I could say the same thing I’ve said in every relationship: ‘I’m
happy.’ But there’s happiness and there’s love, and then there’s
completion. It doesn’t take away from any of the relationships that
I’ve had, ’cause I’ve had amazing relationships. But I feel like I
found my perfect fit. She’s taught me lessons about myself, and I feel
like I’ve taught her. We’ve both changed and grown, and we just feel
like, "Oh, OK, this is completion."

She died in an LA hospital, with Angelina, her older brother James Haven, and Brad at her side, after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Angelina and her mother were apparently very close.

ISAIAH ENTERS REHAB
So far, it looks like Isaiah’s going to keep his job as Dr. Burke on Grey’s Anatomy ON CONDITION that he do some time in rehab to explore the motivations behind his recent scandalous behaviour. I have to say, I LOVE Burke on Grey’s. I find him totally hott, and smart, and mysterious, and I love his relationship with Cristina, his chemistry with Sandra Oh. There. I said it. I love Burke and I don’t think anyone else can play the role as well as he does and I think the show would suffer humungously if he left. Although, of course, I do think his actions deserve major repercussion. And, I think he’s doing a good job repenting, reaching out, etc..

I’ve been trying very hard to watch The Apprentice. It’s not holding me, though. Not holding my attention one bit. Whaddup Widdat? I hate the whole tent thing. It bores me. I liked it better the old way, when, in between tasks, the teams would intermingle a bit. I do NOT want to watch these people camping out. It’s ludicrous, boring, not-why-I-watch-The-Apprentice. Anyway, what do you think of today’s items? How ’bout those new hookups: Scarlett and Mark? Pam and George? Wild. These are only speculations right now, of course….Talk to me in the comments.
