As women, and I think particularly as mothers, we’ve all had those moments. Moments when we jumped on a trampoline, laughed particularly hard, coughed or sneezed unexpectedly, and realized we should have done a few more Kegel exercises during pregnancy. STRIDE Everyday launched this month to provide women with comfort and confidence, everyday.

STRIDE2.jpgThe brainchild of Canadian entrepreneur Wendy Spencer, STRIDE Everyday panties feature patented absorbency technology built into the panties, that wicks moisture away from the top layer, absorbing and deodorizing to keep clothes dry.

Spencer was a marathon runner who remained physically active during pregnancy, but was surprised to realize that, like many women, she experience stress incontinence after the birth of her son. Neither Depends nor pantyliners fit the bill, so she saw an opportunity. “We’ve created fashionable panties with a purpose to help women deal with the issue of light leaks – we’re providing style and security all in one.”

STRIDE Everyday is designed for comfort, confidence and convenience, and comes in two styles. There’s a sexy lacy thong that comes in nude, rose or black and retails for $24.99, and a great seamless black panty for $19.99 that will be all you’ll ever wear under your yoga pants.
The panties are machine washable (and I threw them in the dryer without a problem) and good for 200 washings. I have to say that I’ve road tested these panties and I can definitely vouch for their comfort and efficacy. Even without their patented technology, I’d recommend them as a quality, comfortable panty!
STRIDE Everyday is available exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores across Canada or online.
