2 08/09/2012 parenting Alone Time

I love the solitude of early morning.
The quality of the sunlight slanting into my living room.
The quiet of the house before my daughters wake, shake off sleep and add their exuberant energy to the day.
The smell of coffee brewing.
It is, indeed, worth waking up for. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to grab my book, my coffee and a patch of morning sunlight on the couch.
Enjoy your day.

Used to love it sitting on the dock – now I have children who get up way to early so I am always crying for more sleep. Do love my morning cuddles with them though.

I am with you- best time of the day. So filled with possibility. Enjoy!
